FUMA Postgraduate Basketball

On January 7, Massanutten Military School visited Thomas Gym - a returning member of the old Military League of the70's! FUMA started off slowly falling behind early, and MMS led at the half 42-39 Too much Christmas break! The second half was another story as the FUMA PG's outscored MMS 66-47 to win going away, 105-89!

On January 10, FUMA returned to action against a local team who has gone "big time" in basketball - The Blue Ridge School of Dyke, Virginia. FUMA again started out slowly, falling behind early before going ahead 46-31 at the half. The second half was almost a mirror image, as Blue Ridge closed the score to 10 early, then to 2 points with only seconds remaining. FUMA held on for a 81-77 victory.

FUMA travels north this weekend, to take on the normally tough J.V. team of Princeton University at 4:00 PM on Friday and then The University of Pennsylvania on Saturday at 3:30.

The following weekend FUMA hosts Notre Dame Academy of Boston, Massachusetts.
