Prep Basketball Extends Win Streak

FUMA Prep traveled to Collegiate on Friday, December 9 and defeated a good team in a tough environment. Fork Union was down 5 at halftime, but they battled back in the second half to win the game by 3 points, 54-51. The Blue Devils were led in scoring by senior Lemond Lee who had 20 points and junior Tienne Jefferson with 17 points. Lee also added 12 rebounds.

With less than 24 hours rest from an emotional win on Friday night, Fork Union Prep Basketball traveled 3 hours to Norfolk Academy to tough out a win with a final score of 53-49. The team was led in scoring by junior Tienne Jefferson with 18 points. Senior Lemond Lee added 15 points - all scored in the second half. The Blue Devils had been down for the entire game before pulling together in a fourth quarter rally and taking the lead. Tienne Jefferson and Lemond Lee both had 7 rebounds.

The team will face STAB this Tuesday, December 13, before going on Christmas Break. Their record is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Prep League.
