First Swim Meet a Victory for FUMA

FUMA's Aquatic Center enjoyed a successful inaugural meet as the Blue Devils defeated Massanutten Academy 101-55. A large and appreciative crowd, including several trustees and other donors to the project, was on hand to enjoy the victory.

First Place Finishers:

Cadet W. Trainor in the 200 meter freestyle and 100 meter backstroke
Cadet Rivas in the 100 meter butterfly
Cadet Sevier in the 50 meter freestyle race
Cadet Malley in the 500 meter freestyle race
Cadet Halfpap in the 100 meter breaststroke race
Fork Union also went 1-2-3 the 200 meter freestyle relay, and 1-3 the 400 meter freestyle relay.

Diving was not officially scored in the meet, as Massanutten does not field a diving team; however; standout divers for FUMA included cadets Fregeau, Brown, Hedges, and Anetz.
