New FUMA / Dallas Cowboys Poster
As you may know by now, three FUMA alumni are playing for the Dallas Cowboys this year: Vinny Testaverde ('82), Eddie George ('92), and Dexter Coakley ('93). All three of these gentlemen graciously gave of their time to produce a photo for a poster promoting FUMA and honoring their success stories.
It is highly unusual to have two Heisman Trophy winners (Testaverde and George) from one high school/prep school, let alone have them play on the same NFL team at the same time. Add in a third alumnus (Coakley - also a multi-year pro-bowl player and member of the starting lineup) from the same school on the same NFL team and the odds are extraordinary, making this poster a must-have for sports collectors as well as FUMA fans.
Then consider the fact that these three are among 14 active NFL players from FUMA. The most active NFL players from any other single school is 6 from a school in Long Beach, California. Several other schools have 3 or 4, but FUMA's 14 is unmatched.
Of course, not only do we have these three NFL players in Texas, but three of our valedictorians in recent years were from Texas! NFL players are just one small measure of the success bred at FUMA, but it is a very visible and attractive measure for the young men we attract.
These players came to FUMA not because we are a good football school, but because they knew that this is where good football players can learn how to become good students and good men.

Proceeds from the sale of this poster (as well as the new book "The Heisman" featuring the stories of Vinny and Eddie) are being used to offset our marketing/advertising costs in attracting new cadets to FUMA, so I encourage you to check it out!
