Jason Sharpe joins PG Basketball team

Jason Sharpe, the 6-8 center from Trinidad, joins the PG Basketball team this year. Sharpe was captain of the Millennium Basketball Academy team at the Sixth Easter Roundball Classic in Durham, NC this past Easter and caught the eye of Coach Fletcher Arritt.

Sharpe played four seasons of high school basketball, leading his team to two division finals. He averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocked shots, and 3 dunks per game during his high school career.

Jason is the son of Caroline Sharpe, a school teacher, and Ian Sharpe, who recently worked with Olympic team from Trinidad and Tobago in Athens, Greece as a physiotherapist.
