"We are....WE ARE...Delta...DELTA!"

The cadence sounded loud and clear across the campus of Fork Union Military Academy early on a Monday morning. The postgraduate football team, under the demanding eye of Coach John Shuman, was in a tight formation marching smartly to breakfast after their morning workout.

Delta Company was making a statement: They are here to be the best.

FUMA Quadrathlon to help local high schools

On Saturday, August 7th FUMA will host a Quadrathlon (5K race) to help local high school Olympic Sports. The goal is to raise money for the Jefferson District Indoor Track Meet to be held in February. Saturday is also a kick-off event for the Central Virginia Olympic Sports Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to help local high school Olympic sports with expenses when many of their athletic budgets are being cut during this economic crunch. This year's event will help local running sports and possibly in the future assist in swimming.
