Steve Macek, Director of Admissions, and Todd Giszack, Director of Financial Aid, will be in the Roanoke area on Monday August 2nd.

Please stop by the Marriott Courtyard Roanoke Airport Monday evening (starting at 5:30 pm) to discuss enrollment options for the coming school year. Admissions interviews will be available id requested.

MAJ Mike Williams at the kiosk this weekend July 31st and August 1st.

MAJ Mike Williams will be at the Tysons Corner Center kiosk this weekend. Mike, who recently transitioned to the Athletic Department administration, has spent the previous 5 years as Assistant Director of Admissions. Mike is a great source of information about both the academic and athletic aspects of FUMA.

Please stop by is you are interested in information regarding our program. The kiosk is located in the mall, just outside of Macy's second floor entrance.

Fall Entry Nears

As we quickly finish summer school, we anticipate a smooth beginning to the 2010-2011 school year. You may assist in that goal by remembering that all students, both new and returning, are required to have a new Health and Immunization record completed.

This form may be found under the Download Center of this website.

Please pay close attention to the immunization section, since there have been several changes to the Commonwealth of Virginia requirements.

Three FUMA cadets receive highest score possible on College Board's Advanced Placement exams

This year, Fork Union Military Academy had three students receive the highest score possible – 5 – on their Advanced Placement examinations taken in May 2010. This is an exceptional achievement for these young men and the Academy is proud to recognize their accomplishments.

Fork Union Military Academy's Director of Guidance, Dr. Bob Grant, will be at the kiosk this weekend at Tysons Corner Center.

There is still time to apply for fall enrollment, and Dr. Grant can provide a good perspective regarding the benefits of our program.

The kiosk is located in the mall just outside Macy's second floor entrance. Stop by and pick up a free admissions packet.

Can't make the kiosk? Call our admissions office at 434.842.4358, and we will set up a time for you to visit the campus. We are available Monday through Saturday each week.

Summer Session 2010

It's hard to believe that we are 3/4ths of the way finished. We have had a great time so far. I've received several e-mails from parents noting the difference they already see in their son. My hope is that at the end of the summer session all students will feel like they have made an accomplishment. I look forward to seeing many of your son(s) back in the fall.

Interested in admission for the upcoming school year? Our Academic Dean, COL Bob Miller, will be at the kiosk Saturday and Sunday (July 17th and 18th). Col Miller has extensive experience within the Military School tradition. He is an excellent resource for discussing the potential benefits of enrolling at military-style college preparatory school.

LTC Rob Feathers will be at the kiosk this weekend at Tysons Corner Center. Rob has had 3 sons graduate from FUMA and is an alumnus as well. Rob would be happy to discuss enrollment options fore the coming school year and answer any questions you may have.

The kiosk is located outside of Macys on the second floor of the mall.
