Post Graduate Program
Thu, 03/18/2010 - 3:48pm
Considering coming for a visit w/my son who is graduating this May from public high school. He is an 4-A All-State basketball player from Texas. I had a great visit with Coach Arritt, but just wondering if anyone has had personal experience with the basketball program and specifically a post graduate who is looking to play at a D-1 level. There seems to be good information on football, but not so much on basketball, although the academy and program has been highly recommended. Thanks.

Greetings,
While my only involvement with our athletic programs is as a great fan, I have observed a lot of PG basketball players go on to great schools. Even the best high school player experiences a great boost in their playing skills as a result of this demanding year. In addition they learn very valuable life skills that serve them well throughout college, as well as gain academic enhancement. I would strongly encourage you to set up a day long visit with coach Arritt.

Thanks for your comment....my son and I have a trip planned the middle of April and looking forward to visiting the school.
