He was mean but at the same time a wonderful person. He got me in Retan Rifles.

Great Guy--- as a cadet, I thought he was a jerk, but when I worked with him, I thought the world of him. He would do a lot of jobs (Dillard Guard and Boy Scouts) that allowed the other faculty some breathers---he was one of those guys that when he left, you noticed that he did a lot and really drove kids the right way.
I believe he is teaching in Buckingham, but check with Dan Thompson..
BTW-- I didn't inspire you to get into Retan? :-)
I agree with you Buddy, at the beginning I thought he was a Jerk too... but he helped me get into Retan, which changed the whole FUMA experience for me.
I think of him all the time, I hope he's doing well.
