Class of '89 Alumni Weekend Cookout

Rob Ritchie (Kyle) and myself are hosting an Alumni cookout on Saturday May 2, 6:00 P.M. at Trices Lake in Columbia, Va. It is located 19 miles from the campus. All alumni are invited, not just '89, and are encouraged to bring a side dish if possible. There will be libations, Robs expertly grilled steaks, my famous BBQ ribs and cigars.

Great Turnout Sunday
It was great to see the turnout of Class of 1989 on Sunday. Missed you guys at the dinner on campus, our Development Office sat at your reserved table, but sounds like you guys had more fun!! Thank you for keeping in touch via Facebook and this Forum. Please let other alums know that it is fun to return each year just to see the campus and rekindle some old memories!! Hope to see you again for your 25th (or before)!!

Class of '89 Alumni Weekend Cookout
Gentlemen,
I was tallying up the number of Alums (and their guests) who have RSVPd for the Saturday May 2nd Cookout and we are looking out somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 - 40.
Anyone who hasn't RSVPd can still do so. Either go to the Facebook Page or leave a note on here.

Class of '89 Alumni Weekend Cookout
Hello Gentleman,
Several Alums have asked about renting a cabin at Trice's Lake. Blue Devil Cottage http://www.BlueDevilCottage.com and Starbright Cottage http://www.CampStarbright.com are both booked. I'm working on making 2 to 3 more cabins available. Right now we have 2 requests. IS anyone else looking to rent a place at the lake? The rates run $100-$150 per night for cabins that sleep 6-8. With only 97 homes in total at the lake I'll need as much advanced notice as possible to try to line something up.
Lynley and I are looking forward to seeing you Alumni Weekend.

Our cookout starting saturday afternoon already has an impressive turnout!
Carters lovely wife Lynley will be providing a wonderful southern breakfast on sunday morning at Trices Lake clubhouse!
