Balfour
I sent my 1978 class ring to Balfour for repair (with a check for $14.95 as directed) - yes 30+ years of wear and tear had removed all but the F of the FUMA on the stone and the stone was ragged as well the ring out of round and the metal slightly marred. I have worn my ring nearly everyday after graduation even when in the Coast Guard around my neck with my dog tags.
I was apprehensive about sending it away and truly expected it to be returned without being repaired as the faults were not those of workmanship but of my carelessness in the rings wear, or a note stating that I would have to buy a replacement ring.
How very excited I was today with the arrival my ring via DHL - it looks exquisite with new stone and gold FUMA inlay.
I highly recommend to my classmates and friends if you Balfour ring is in need of repair to contact them and have it restored.

I can now proudly wear my ring again and when people ask; "Is that your class ring?" or "Where did you go to school?" I can show them.

I never wear my class ring anymore (occupational hazard) butI still have it. I never ordered a college ring, as Iwas more proud of the FUMA ring.
