FUMA Band!

This past weekend, the FUMA band participated in the 31st Annual Military School Band Festival. Cadets from military schools from Wisconsin to Indiana to Kansas to North Carolina to New York were represented. There were approximately 125 students.

FUMA was well represented with two cadets earning 1st chair positions: Min Kim on trumpet and Micah Evans on alto sax. The final concert consisted of the six songs the students had been working on all weekend. The final selection was the theme from Pirates of the Carribean. FUMA's cadets also had solos.

A highlight of the concert was a Jazz band performance which included serveral bandmasters playing their instruments. Chief Patterson played guitar. It was great to watch the Jazz band.

FUMA has an excellent band and choir! Way to go guys!!!!
