January Enrollment
We are receiving a large number of inquiries from families looking at next year who did not realize that FUMA enrolls students throughout the academic year. Our next enrollment dates are in early January for the Upper School and Mid-January for the middle school.
If you are looking for a long term change in your future cadet’s habits, there is no better time than the present. Although we do offer a few later enrollment dates, January is a great transition time, because a relatively large number of cadets will enroll, making the transition less intimidating to the “new” cadets.
Another question that is quite frequent is about the adjustment period for the newer students. I would also like to point out that, while we do train our new cadets and help them adjust to the new and different expectations at FUMA, there is no “rat” or “plebe” system in place. We make sure they know and understand the rules. We teach them how to make a bed, shine shoes and wear a cadet uniform properly. We teach them how to sit quietly and study for an extended period of time.
Please call the Admissions Office at 1-800-GO-2-FUMA if you have any questions or would like to set up an interview.

Great Day,
We have submitted our paperwork and waiting for a response. The sooner our son starts the better off he will be. He is now looking forward to attending FUMA and realizes he can be great in ANYTHING he puts his mind to.
Nervously waiting  ,

As always, I encourage you to be proactive in making sure that all of the forms have been returned promptly to FUMA - the transcripts, character questionnaire, teacher recommendations, etc. must all be returned by your son's current school before final action can be taken on your son's admission decision.
Best of luck to you! I hope we will have a fabulous addition to our FUMA family!

I did just that. I delivered the forms to the teachers myself. I also waited while the guidance counselor did hers. I asked everyone to fax their papers first then mail them in the envelope I provided. I had to get a response before my son's winter break started.
Admissions was GREAT. If I wasn't calling them they were calling me. It was a SMOOTH process.
Woo Hoo :P we got a acceptance for Jan 3 . in 8 business days.
FUMA here we come!

I can attest to the no rat/plebe statement! Thanks Col. Macek.
