Snowball Fight of 87?
Anyone remember the snowball fight of 87?
it has been addressed before, but it's worth mentioning again. I personally avoided it. I never could throw worth a crap and didn't desire to be someone's sitting duck, as I wasn't quick on my feet back then (I got a little better with age). I do remember that Tom David ended up fracturing his femur. I also remember an overly zealous cadet officer threatening to stick a bunch of guys for out of uniform for wearing their sweats inside out as a form of camo. Can't remember who that was though.
I was right in the middle of it. Two very large Post Grads chased me into a briar patch on the cross county track and I ran right through it. Come to find out, they just wanted to know why I was crazy enough to wear shorts and a t-shirt to a snowball fight. I think I still have marks on my legs from the briars.
I remember thinking that my feet were going to be frostbitten... fuma generic sneakers didnt keep out the snow very well.
Hence this must be the reason the current cadets aren't allowed to TOUCH the snow! My son says snow is hated these days at FUMA...now I know why! BOYS WILL BE BOYS!

Whatever happened to being a kid
Hell, I'm an adult and I'll still throw a snowball.
Exactly...especially when you grow up in an area where you rarely get to see a flake much less a real snowfall. He would love to be in a full fledge snowball fight!
you guys talking about the big snowball fight in the fields down the road from the infirmary, along the cross-country path?

I think that's been mentioned here before...
Let me search it out and see if I can find the topic...
