These flags, representing the 50 states and the District of
Columbia and Puerto Rico, were presented by the F.U.M.A.
Alumni Association in May 1984 to the Academy in honor of
Lieutenant Colonel E. H. "Gus" Lacy, Jr., longtime teacher,
coach, and administrator and longtime friend of the alumni.
