Summer School begins Sunday June 29th
Just a reminder that Summer School check-in is Sunday June 29th beginning at 9 am in the Estes Dining Hall. I am including a link to the health forms on our website. Please note that completed health forms are required including an up-to-date physical (completed within the last calendar year).

Greetings
For my first "Admissions" blog entry, I thought it would be appropriate to briefly introduce myself. My name is LTC Steve Macek and I have been a part of FUMA since 1994.
One of the questions I am asked frequently is "How did you end up at FUMA?"
In 1994 my wife-to-be told me she was moving to Virgina to pursue a PhD in physics. With one year left in college I vowed to finish strong and follow her when I finished my degree. Little did I know that my following her south from New England would lead me through the gates of Fork Union Military Academy. And here I remain.
In my time with he Academy I have served as a middle school teacher and coach, the Middle School Commandant, an upper school science teacher and coach. Currently, I serve as Director of Admissions.
What have I learned in my time here? In the lives of the cadets that I have seen come here, I can say I have witnessed first hand the fact that for so many, "success stories begin here."
