Financial Aid & ScholarshipsFinancial Aid for Cadets Grades 6-12The Academy offers a limited amount of financial assistance (tuition reductions and funded scholarships) for young men who are well suited for success at FUMA but whose families are unable to make full tuition payment. Tuition ReductionsTuition Reductions are grants made based on financial need for qualified recipients. These financial aid grants reduce the actual amount of tuition you must pay. Financial aid awards are posted to accounts in January for parents who are paying tuition under the Two Payment Plan. For parents using the Monthly Installment Plan, financial aid awards are posted on accounts to reduce (or eliminate) the final monthly payment(s). Apply online for financial aid.
ScholarshipsA number of scholarship funds have been endowed by supporters of the Academy to provide tuition assistance for deserving students. Many of these scholarships have specific requirements for eligibility, and most scholarship awards are made at the end of the academic year for cadets who will be returning the following year.
Alumni Scholarship FundThis special scholarship program provides an opportunity for our alumni to nominate a prospective new student for a special Alumni Scholarship award of between $500 and $3,000. More info...
