Financial Aid ProgramsLoans by Educational LendersMost of us are used to making large investments in our homes, cars, and other major assets. The vast majority of us finance this type of investment rather than pay cash up front. Certainly, your son's education is a significant and very valuable investment -- and one that many families choose to finance through a lending institution. A number of lending institutions offer educational loans for parents of K-12 students seeking to pay for private education. Many of these education loans allow you to borrow up to the full cost of your child's education and spread your payments out over as much as 20 years, with monthly payments as low as $200 or less. Financial Aid for Cadets Grades 6-12The Academy offers a limited amount of financial assistance (tuition reductions and funded scholarships) for young men who are well suited for success at FUMA but whose families are unable to make full tuition payment. Postgraduate Athletic Scholarships and LoansFUMA's postgraduate football and basketball programs are allowed a limited amount of tuition assistance for cadet-athletes. Candidates must contact the coaches directly to discuss eligibility for grants and/or loans that allow for repayment after college. PG Athletic Scholarships and Loans are not applied to the cadets' tuition accounts until after the cadet's parents have paid their portion of tuition and fees - that is, full tuition minus aid amounts.
Forfeiture of Financial Aid AwardsIf a cadet is withdrawn or dismissed from the Academy, tuition assistance is forteited - that is, the parent's tuition obligation returns to the full amount stated on the Enrollment Agreement.
