Allowance Accounts

Parents are encouraged to set up an allowance account - separate from the tuition account - from which the cadet may receive cash each week, usually $10-$15. An allowance account form must be completed, signed and returned to the Business Office, along with a check for initial deposit.

Future deposits may be made by credit card by telephone. Forms and information are included in the Summer Mailing before school opens.

Cadets are not permitted to borrow funds from the Academy. There is no charge for allowance disbursement service.

Parents of junior, seniors, and postgraduates might also consider opening a cadet's separate College Application Account for expenses incurred in that process - primarily application fees.
